School has resumed.  EDGE never really stopped for the summer and there will be more to come this fall!  If you are in the 7th or 8th grades, come join EDGE on Tuesday nights from 7-9pm.

The Team will be here to show the documentary "Rescue" the follow up to the original Invisible children Documentary.

We will start in the Youth Room and venture to the sanctuary, where we will not play sanctuary Whoffle Ball but will hear from the volunteers, and will be watching the Movie. Bring your questions :) You will have an opportunity to buy videos bracelets and t-shirts that help support the cause of children soldiers in Uganda.

Flour Ball

Tonight at EDGE Here is what is about to happen : ) Just so you know the picture above is a picture of: 

wiffle ball + section of nylon + Flour inside = the ULTIMATE FLOUR BALL making contact with the bat.

I will bring up more photos later of how it all went. For now here are photos where Leader Mike Jones, and I (Melinda (1 or 2) Youth pastor) practice and  set up the game. 

Whew Let me just say that we had AN AMAZING TIME! I cannot Wait to see what happens Tonight!
